As an organization we have often been asked who we support or endorse when it comes to the Judges. That has been a hard question to get an answer for. Judicial candidates have communicated to us that they can not answer our CFABA.ORG Candidate Questionnaire ™ because they can not be predisposed to an issue they may rule on. That has left the voter with little to go by but a name on the ballot. With the current trend of activist courts, a name is not enough.

Against the trend in politics, Robert was and is not a lawyer, this has lead to some very eye opening encounters with our current legal system. This website is one result of those eye opening encounters.

Robert, has a Christian prayer ministry and he often tells people he prays for, to be looking for how God has answered their prayers because God is going to answer them, maybe not the way they think but God is going to answer them. In this case some could say the joke was on him, because God chose to answer Robert's years of prayer, for a way to elect good judges, by sending him to court with his own cases both criminal and civil showing him what was really going on in the judicial system.

There is much more to the story but just for the record the criminal charges against Robert and Gail were left as UTP, unable to proceed, after 14 months of court, when Gail's mom the complainant, whom two doctors diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, was moved out of state by Gail's brother to keep Gail from getting conservatorship.So, bottom line Robert and Gail still DO NOT have a criminal record even though "The Prosecution Team" worked very hard to get them a criminal record.

But this was not Robert's first time in court, that was in 1990 when he had to fight to get back on the ballot. The pro bono attorney that helped him said something that was very disturbing as they prepared to file the case. Basically, he had gone to school with one of the judges, and that if we got that judge we would lose the case. We did and did.

During his second attempt as a candidate for Congress in 1992 he faced a completely different challenge. And, he came to the decision that he would always seek to be transparent even if it hurt. Many candidates say they will be transparent but Robert really meant it. This was shown when he called contacts he had at the two major local papers in his district to inform them that his business office had been seized by the IRS. By the way one of his local papers was the Los Angeles Times the other was The Los Angeles Daily News, both published stories about the seizure.

He could have kept it out of the papers it really was not necessary to go public as he did, but the IRS had gone over board and it looked like retaliation for his leadership role in the effort to Recall Mayor Tom Bradley. One thing he learned in his bookkeeping business was his customers did not want their stories told so he would need to tell his own story. That is a big reason he is willing to go public on his personal issues where others would just keep them private.

And that leads back to that answered prayer. By being the one it was happening to, Robert could speak out and talk about what was taking place, it was his story to tell. What he saw was shocking and disturbing. Not because it happened to him but as he sat in court he saw it happening to many others. He can not tell their stories but he can tell his and he plans to. 

Robert has come to believe that the whole legal system is broken, thus the title for this website.

The intent is to be transparent, so these documents may seem overwhelming. It is not our intent to overwhelm the reader but rather to provide as much of the facts of story as we can.
